Mental Ointment

To help you better understand this article, let us ask ourselves this question, what is ointment??

Well, ointment is something that can help heal a wound or keep it from getting infected.  A spiritual/mental ointment could be something that can heal a spiritual or mental problem.  

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalm 147:3

For example, our sin.  Our sin is a huge problem, that is why we should bury ourselves with The Word, and God. Because our sin can get out of control, and people won’t like us and we can ruin friendships!!  

Our mental ointment is God; if we bury ourselves with Him and The Word then our lives will be so much easier!! Easier doesn’t mean that bad things won’t happen, but it does mean we will have hope in God no matter how bad things get.  He will guide us through our lives with love and comfort, to help heal any problems that we have in our lives.
